Aramid cables

FibreMax aramid cables are made with Twaron®, which is a very strong fibre developed and produced exclusively by Teijin Aramid. It has a high modulus, is thermally stable, highly impact and chemical resistant.

The unique properties of Twaron® fibres used in FibreMax Aramid cables give these cables a number of significant advantages over steel-wire ropes, polyester or nylon ropes. When compared at the same MBL, FibreMax Aramid cables offer smaller diameters and less weight, resulting in major advantages in terms of easier handling, increasing safety, faster operations and downsizing of constructions.
