Delivery of antenna guy cables

Next week FibreMax will deliver a complete set of aramid antenna guy cables for a radio transmission tower. The tower will be build on the isle of São Miguel in the Azores.

The cables have a breaking strength of 400kN. The shortest cable has a length of 15 meters, the longest cable is 45 meters. All end terminations are in stainless steel, because of climate conditions.

FibreMax aramid antenna guy cables were chosen because of their lighter weight and smaller outer dimensions compared to other competitive brands at the same breaking strength. The production method of FibreMax garantuees exact cable lengths. The perfect end termination eliminates the risk of slipping fibres and conseqently loss of breaking strength and cable failure. FibreMax aramid antenna guy cables are flexible and can be easily reeled during transport.

FibreMax aramid antenna guy cables are non-conductive and corrosion free. The outer cover is highly resistant against abrasion and UV. FibreMax aramid antenna guy cables are resistant to temperatures between -40 and +90 degrees Celsius.

The cables will supplied to the customer by our representative Sicorlis in Portugal. After succesfully having installed several cables for replacement this order is the first delivery for a new tower.
