Crane equipment news
The KHL group, which publishes the international crane magazines such as "International Cranes and Specialized Transport" and "American Cranes and Transport", has published an article about FibreMax on their website in the Crane Equipment News section.
With the innovating technology of FibreMax it is possible to produce lightweight precision synthetic cables that are lighter, stiffer, stronger and thinner than conventional steel wire ropes or braided synthetic ropes (when compared at the same break load). Not only can these cables be used in any heavy lift application, they also form a perfect lightweight alternative to steel in crane stay cables or pendants.
