Dyneema

FibreMax cables made with Dyneema ® SK-78 are as strong as steel-wire ropes, polyester or nylon ropes, but offer smaller diameters and significant less weight (when compared at the same MBL). This increased strength and weight reduction offers major advantages in terms of easier handling, increasing safety, faster operations and downsizing of constructions.

Dyneema ®, invented by DSM Dyneema, is a High Modulus Polyethylene (HMPE) fibre that offers maximum strength combined with minimum weight.

Our unique production process isn’t limited to Dyneema ® only; FibreMax can produce cables out of any fibre material, depending on the application or customer’s request. Our engineers will assist you in choosing the best fibre option for your application. Fibres that can be used are nylon, polyester, aramid, Dyneema ^®, carbon or PBO.
